Eye Candy - Epic - Salamanders Rhinos

Today I finished work on some Epic Salamander Rhinos. I have four regular Rhinos, which will take their place in my 3K list and a Command Rhino, which as yet will be in reserve, awaiting a slot. As this is a new colour scheme for me I will probably do a painting guide on here soon, using a Landraider.

Eye Candy - Epic - Cadian Griffon - Salamanders Razorbacks

Commission work has kept my updates sparse, but I have done some of my own painting on evenings and weekends. I have started two new Epic projects, namely a Salamander space marine and a Cadian Imperial Guard armies.
Here's a look at my first offerings for these. The Cadian Griffon is in the standard Cadian camo scheme, which looks great but is very different to my usual bright schemes. Drab works for Guard though. Then there's the Salamanders Razorbacks, I'm really pleased with the finished look of these. I've spent a lot of time perfecting the green, dried mud (also on the Cadian tank) and creating the decals.

Eye Candy - Epic - Legio Victorum Titans - Harhounds

As I have been mainly concentrating on some Bolt Action minis for a friend recently, my own Epic minis have been worked on in the background. Today I completed work of two Warhound Titans. I chose to paint these as Legio Victorum Titans as I really like the way that the blue is complimented by the various metals (gold, bronze and steel). I did make some mistakes when building these, namely getting glue all over some of the leg panels. After undercoating I decided that this looked like the paint had been burned/scorched and therefore painted them that way; I'm fairly happy with the results.
